Baked sev/Omapodi

We still can have our favourite foods when we are on diet .Believe me.There is...This baked sev taste equal to the normal sev we use for toppings in bhel puri,Sev puri....You need sev/string hopper press for this recipe.You can store this baked sev for Several days .


Recipe(4 servings)
Calories/Serving-80

Ingredients:

1. 1 Cup gram flour/Besan
2.1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3. 2 tsp lemon juice
4. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
5.1/4 tsp chilli powder(optional)
6.Salt
Oil for greasing the baking tray

Method:
1.Combine all the ingredients and mix in a bowl to form semi stiff dough using water.
2.Grease your hands with the oil and fill the dough in sev press press into thin strands in baking tray.
3.Bake in preheated oven at 200c for 10 mins in oven .Or use a crisp function in oven.
4.Break the strands as a sev and store it in airtight container.


Simple Wheat bread/Multigrain bread sandwhich

This wheat bread sandwich can be made using simple ingredients.Pictures coming soon.

Ingredients:
1.Wheat bread /Mutligrain bread - 4 slices
2.Onion chopped  finely--1
3.Tomato chopped  finely-1
4.Chopped coriander leaves
5.  Chilli flakes -1 tsp
6. Chat masala-1/2 tsp
8. Salt to taste

Method:
1. Mix the onion,Tomato,coriander,Chilli flakes,chat masala and salt to form a filling.
2.Place this filling inside one bread and place the other bread on top of it.
3.Place in a sandwich maker and toast it or you can have it directly.
